Eligibility For  Admission of BAMS Course


Candidate who have passed the HSE of VHSE, Kerala Government Examinations or Equivalents there to with 50% mark in Biology separately and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics put together and included in the rank list of NEET  (https://ntaneet.nic.in/ntaneet/welcome.aspx ) and seat allotted by the Commission for Entrance Examination, Government of Kerala (http://www.cee-kerala.org/index.php/keam) are eligible for admission to BAMS course.


Currently Five batches of B.A.M.S students are admitted.




Eligibility For Admission to P.G and P.G.Diploma Courses

Candidate included in the rank list of the AIAPGET and admission allotted by the commission for entrance examination government of Kerala and who have passed the BAM/Ayurvedacharya/BAMS from the colleges having CCIM recognition and BAMS degree of Kerala University of Health Sciences or its equivalent with 50% of marks for theory and practical separately in each subject and eligible for admission to P.G course.


Initially degrees like Vaidya test, Lower Medical Certificate (LMC), Higher Medical Certificate (HMC) , Vaidya Sastri etc. were awarded upon completion of course.With the formation of University of Kerala in 1949-50 a diploma course in Ayurveda (DAM) came into existence. In 1951,this was renamed as Integrated Diploma and the duration of the course was rescheduled to 51/2 years. In 1962 the integrated course was terminated and pure degree and diploma courses in Ayurveda were implemented. These were also stopped in 1969 and subsequently in 1971-72 post graduation courses were started. At present the college is affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS).The College conducts various paramedical courses as well.

Eligibility For Admission to PhD Programme

The college is an approved centre for PhD programme of Kerala University and


New programmes are affiliated to KUHS. Candidates for PhD programme are selected by KUHS .

Eligibility For Admission to Paramedical Course

Applications for the conduction of Paramedical Courses including Therapist, Nursing and Pharmacist courses will be called for as per timely Government orders and published in the dailies. Candidates who have applied are selected on the basis of higher marks/ grade availed by them in their S.S.L.C or Equivalent Exam conducted by State Government of Kerala.

Currently Five batches of B.A.M.S students viz, 2008 batch, 2009 batch, 2010batch, 2011 batch and 2012 batch are admitted. The detailed lists of them are as follows:
